The stocks show no significant wear or damage. Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered select walnut with schnabel forend, straight grip, straight comb, and checkered rubber Browning buttpad. There are two drilled, tapped, and filled holes just behind the rear sight and two on the top of the chamber ring. The rear sight is a semi-buckhorn U-notch elevator sight that is dovetailed to the barrel. Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade dovetailed to the top of the barrel. The right of the receiver has the serial number, the underside of the lever has a buck mark logo. MADE IN JAPAN” and “NP” at the rear, the right shoulder is marked “BROWNING MODEL 1885 CALIBER. Markings: The left shoulder of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q.
